Bandar Seri Begawan[a] (BSB) is the capital and largest city of Brunei. It is officially a municipal area (kawasan bandaran) with an area of 100.36 square kilometres (38.75 sq mi) and an estimated population of 64,409 as of 2025.
Solarvest, a publicly listed company on Malaysia's Bursa, has previously reported the project investment at over BND 30 million. The venture originated from an open Request for Proposal (RFP) process in 2021 by the Brunei government.
The project will be built and operated by Seri Suria Power, which is owned by Solarvest subsidiary Atlantic Blue Sdn Bhd (34%) in a joint venture partnership with Serikandi Oilfield Services (36%) and Khaznah Satu (30%). Solarvest won the project under a competitive request for proposal (RFP) launched in 2021.
